Kathleen Fitzgerald, RN, PMH-C
Kathleen graduated Nursing school in 1999 going straight to work in L&D. Her passion for helping all women has been evident throughout the years. Volunteering with Phoenix area homeless shelters for pregnant women, teaching Teen birthing classes and international medical missions demonstrates this passion.
She is currently working full-time as a PMAD RN within one of the many Indigenous communities in Arizona. Since gaining PMH Certification in 2023, Kathleen developed and implemented a PMAD/ Grief and Loss program to follow patients at high risk for depression. This program follows a patient that may have scored high on a depression screening at their Obstetrical appointment, for a full year Postpartum. Grief and Loss are included in this follow up if a patient has experienced a loss. Patients have expressed much gratitude and appreciation for a program offering PMAD support and compassionate care.
Originally from Seattle, Kathleen has lived most of her adult life in Arizona. She is an avid NFL fan, loves to travel and spend time with her 5 grandchildren. She continues to assist wherever needed to empower underserved women and their children.
